Why we started DistributeRx

A letter from our president

Like many who’ve spent time in healthcare, I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it can be for patients to get the medications they need — not because the treatments don’t exist, but because of how complicated, inconsistent, and opaque our system can be.

We started DistributeRx to change that. At its core, healthcare should be about people — not processes, paperwork, or price tags. But too often, patients are met with barriers: unpredictable costs, administrative red tape, and pharmacy delays. Even providers and manufacturers, who are trying to do the right thing, get tangled in a fragmented system.

We believe it can be better. That’s why DistributeRx was built to simplify and streamline how medications move through the system — from manufacturers to patients — with fewer hurdles and more transparency.

We work directly with pharmaceutical companies to help them launch and support their products effectively. We partner with providers to reduce the administrative load and help get prescriptions where they need to go, faster. And most importantly, we support patients by ensuring they can access the medications they need, at consistent and clear prices — whether they're insured or not.

As we grow, we’ll continue expanding our network, deepening our partnerships, and building smarter solutions to tackle one of healthcare’s most frustrating challenges: access.
